Skin Boosters

Advanced
technology

Tissue biostimulators (Skin boosters) are technologically advanced preparations or substances that have a positive effect on the skin. Nevertheless, creating a precise and accurate definition for all of them is difficult because they differ in composition, mechanism of action, technique of administration and application.

Tissue stimulators can be divided into:

  • those administered with mesotherapy and deep mesotherapy,
  • those served in a similar fashion to hyaluronic acid fillers,
  • those provided in designated points recommended by the manufacturer.

Types of
treatments:

What is unique about PROFHILO?

  • It brings very natural visual effects both at rest and during facial movements
  • The procedure takes only 5-10 minutes
  • During the procedure, only 5 punctures per side are made
  • It is thermally stabilized (patented technology that allows the exclusion of emulsifying agents and chemical cross-linking agents such as BDDE, which may cause allergies)
  • It has solid clinical studies that prove its effectiveness
  • It bio-models the skin of the face, enabling the recovery of a beautiful face oval
  • Research has shown that it generates much less inflammation compared to fillers, while stimulating the production of elastin and collagen much more intensively.
  • It combines biovolumetric and stimulating effects

Profhilo is called “the molecule of youth” by the producer for a reason. Its action is comparable to the action of a thousand tiny springs operating inside the skin. It has unique rejuvenating and strengthening properties for the skin, for which it was awarded the gold AMEC AWARD in Paris in 2015.

Profhilo treatment:

  • triggers the production of elastin and collagen types I, II, IV, VII
  • slims facial features
  • rejuvenates the skin
  • causes a biovolumetric effect
  • smoothes wrinkles
  • gives the skin elasticity
  • restores the lost face profile
  • prevents skin sagging
  • increases skin tension

What areas can this treatment be applied to?

  • face
  • neck
  • neckline
  • shoulders
  • hands
  • knees
  • feet.

How many Profhilo series should be performed?

As a standard, the manufacturer recommends two series of treatments with a 30-day interval, and for people with poor skin condition, an additional third treatment 2 months after the last one.

The effects usually last 1-1.5 years. To maintain the effect, 1-2 reminder treatments can be performed within a year.

What is the procedure of the treatment?

The procedure involves the BAP method which was specifically developed and dedicated to Profhilo. This, in turn, ensures the safety and effectiveness of the treatment. First, puncture sites are marked and disinfected. Then, the preparation is administered by injecting it in 5 points on each side, with a total of 10 points using a specially developed technique.

The entire procedure takes approximately 5-15 minutes.

What are stabilized hybrid complexes and how do they work?

Profhilo stabilized hybrid complexes are a combination of:

  • 32 mg of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (H-HA) – the main component of the skin scaffold and the density of the extracellular matrix,
  • 32 mg of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (L-HA) – responsible for the initiation of repair processes in the skin.

Contraindications to the Profhilo procedure

  • pregnancy and lactation period
  • hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid
  • cancers
  • taking medications that change blood clotting
  • active skin infections (e.g. herpes)

Linerase
treatment

Collagen is a very important protein that occurs in various forms in almost all organs of animal organisms. Its production takes place, among others, in fibroblasts. Collagen present in the skin is fibrillar (fibrous) in nature and acts as a support in it. Unfortunately, after the age of 25, the collagen balance is disturbed and more fibers degrade than form. As a result of increasing collagen losses, the skin collapses, which results in wrinkles.

Linerase is a three-stage rejuvenating treatment that replenishes the skin with collagen and stimulates its formation at the same time. The atelocollagen contained in the preparation has a two-way effect: it stimulates fibroblasts to create their own (endogenous) collagen and stimulates the proliferation (multiplication) of new fibroblasts.

It is perfect as a treatment for acne-prone skin and as an anti-aging treatment. In 2016, it was awarded a prestigious award – it was chosen the “Pearl of Aesthetic Dermatology” in the category of “the best preparation for tissue stimulation”.

How does Atelocollagen Linerase work?

  • Regenerates and rebuilds skin defects
  • Reduces scars, stretch marks and fine wrinkles
  • Increases skin density
  • Improves the elasticity and elasticity of the skin
  • Prevents laxity
  • Prevents the aging process

Indications for the use of Linerase therapy

  • Acne scars
  • The aging processes of the skin
  • Loss of skin density and elasticity
  • Stretch marks and atrophic scars
  • Hand skin in poor condition
  • Anti-aging prophylaxis after the age of 25

The course and mechanism of the procedure

The first stage of the treatment is to apply a special peel-off mask, which prepares the skin for the next stages. The retinol present in it modulates the production of keranocytes; vitamin C has an antioxidant effect; polypeptides release growth factors; glycolic and citric acids increase the availability of active substances. Despite the presence of AHA acids, the peel-off Linerase mask does not exfoliate the skin. The perparation also includes moisturizing hyaluronic acid and collagen.

During the second stage, the preparation with atelocollagen is injected in 3-4 selected areas (e.g. face, neck, cleavage, and hands). It is type I collagen, most commonly found in the human body. The atelocollagen contained in Linerase stimulates the production of its own collagen and new fibroblasts, thus playing an important role in ensuring the skin’s youthful appearance.

The third step is to put on a soothing mask and massage.

All three stages are performed during one visit to the clinic.

How many treatments should be performed?

The manufacturer recommends that the treatment consists of 2-4 sessions at 2-3 weeks’ intervals. Then, in order to maintain the effects, use a reminder treatment every 3 months or repeat the full treatment after 6-12 months.

The obtained effects last up to 12 months.

Contraindications:

  • pregnancy and lactation period
  • high susceptibility to allergies
  • autoimmune diseases
  • Cancer
  • active skin infection in the treatment area
  • taking medications that change blood clotting
  • the tendency to develop keloids

Atelokolagen Linerase, compared to the previously used types of collagen, is a very safe, biocompatible and non-immunogenic preparation (thanks to thorough cleansing), which means that it does not require a double skin test before the treatment.

Depending on the technique, the skin may be anesthetized with a special ointment before the procedure.

It usually lasts 30-60 minutes.

How many series of treatments are needed? What does the Sunekos protocol look like?

An appropriate treatment protocol is selected depending on the condition of the skin.

  • For younger skin, the protocol of choice is to use 3-4 Sunekos 200 sessions at 7-10 days’ intervals.
  • Older skin requires the use of Sunekos 1200, and then after 2 days Sunekos 200. The next 3 treatments are performed with a milder preparation every 7-10 days.

After 4 months, the manufacturer recommends 2 reminding treatments. The protocols and booster treatments are modified depending on the condition of the skin and the use of other aesthetic medicine treatments.

How does Sunekos work?

Sunekos stimulates the skin’s biogenic process. It stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. It includes:

Ellanse™

Ellanse is a new generation biostimulating filler that provides natural effects both at rest and during facial movements, made possible by its complete integrity with the extracellular matrix. The filling effect occurs immediately after administering the formula. After about a month, a partial loss of volume can be observed, and in the following months there is a gradual synthesis of collagen – the filled places regain their volume from the period immediately after the treatment. The quality of the skin is also improved.

Ellanse owes its uniqueness to the composition of two ingredients:

  • carboxycellulose (makes up 70% and causes an immediate filling effect)
  • polycaprolactone (PCL, makes up 30% and is responsible for the gradual production and build-up of collagen type I at the injection sites)

It does not cause severe inflammation, nor are allergic reactions and granulomas observed after its application. It is a completely biodegradable biostimulator.

Ellanse effects

  • improvement of skin quality
  • shallow furrows and wrinkles
  • face modeling
  • recovery of the face oval
  • reduction of falling corners
  • rejuvenation and increase of skin density
  • natural volumetry effect,

Indications of the Ellanse

  • deepened marionette furrows
  • deepened nasolabial folds
  • loss of face oval
  • loss of skin firmness
  • lowered mouth corners
  • signs of aging
  • thin skin
  • a progressive loss of adipose tissue and bone which cause a change to the facial features

What is the Ellanse biostimulation mechanism?

It is the polycaprolactone that is responsible for the biostimulating properties of Ellanse. Once deposited in the skin, its microspores decapsulate and begin to form a specific scaffold, where mainly type I collagen fibers are deposited.

Durability of effects

The durability of the effects depends on the preparation used. Ellanse S lasts a year in the skin, Ellanse M – 2 years, Ellanse L – 3 years, and Ellanse E – 4 years.

Indications:

  • signs of aging
  • damage to the skin structure related to exposure to UV radiation,
  • environmental pollution and smoking
  • formation of wrinkles
  • dehydrated skin

What is unique about the Nucleofill treatment?

  • has a multi-track effect
  • is composed of polynucleotides
  • counteracts photoaging
  • rejuvenates the skin
  • shows antioxidant properties
  • suitable for all skin types
  • provides a clear rejuvenation without intervening on the facial features

Lifting action

Under the influence of the Nucleofill components, the receptors on fibroblasts are stimulated, which in turn cause the formation of new collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin becomes denser, more elastic and firm.

Moisturizing action

Under the influence of the Nucleofill formula, water is bound by the hydrophilic groups of nucleotides. This leads to deep tissue hydration.

Antioxidant (antioxidant) effect of Nuclofill

The polymeric molecules of the Nucleofill formula have the ability to bind free radicals into aromatic rings in nitrogen bases. This action is called antioxidant and helps to restore the skin’s balance. The neutralization of free radicals delays the skin aging process caused by their presence.

How many Nucleofill series should be made?

To ensure the best results, 4 series of treatments performed at intervals of 15-30 days are necessary.

What are free radicals?

Free radicals are unpaired atoms which are formed as a result of various chemical reactions. Due to the presence of one free electron, they are chemically very reactive.

Free radicals try to recover the missing electron by taking it over from other molecules. They contribute to DNA degradation and are considered a cause of aging.

Free radicals present in the skin oxidize, inter alia, collagen and elastin proteins, contributing to the loss of elasticity and the formation of wrinkles. Oxidation of epidermal fats disrupts the skin’s protective barrier, which leads to its sensitization and drying. The presence of free radicals also reduces the skin’s regenerative capacity.

Free radicals wreak havoc not only on the skin, but also throughout the body. They contribute to the emergence of many serious diseases. That is why it is so important to avoid the behaviors that cause them:

  • smoking a cigarette
  • drinking alcohol
  • breathing polluted air
  • intensive sunbathing
  • consuming smoked, grilled and fried foods
  • stressful lifestyle

What is the course of the procedure?

After disinfecting the epidermis, with a needle or cannula, the formula is introduced into the deep layers of the skin.

The type of formula used and the application technique are selected individually.

Contraindications:

  • pregnancy and lactation
  • cancers of various kinds
  • epilepsy
  • autoimmune diseases (past and present)
